Schoolwide Student Recognition:

All students who follow our site expectations (behavioral and academic) everyday all day will always get to participate in daily recesses and reward activities.  These students will also help to maximize learning time and bring positivity to  their classroom environment.  Thank you to all students who do this every day!

At Sheridan School we pride ourselves in having fantastic students. Our staff believes our students deserve to be recognized for their efforts in academics, behavior, and citizenship.  Sheridan School takes pride in their efforts to recognize each and every student for their contributions in making Sheridan a wonderful place to learn.

Sheridan Stars is a monthly student recognition program designed to recognize students who consistently exemplify the value of the month and meet the STAR behavior expectations:  Show Respect, Take Responsibility And be Ready to Learn.

Students that receive 0 Office Referrals (alternative requirements for kindergarten) per reward period will enjoy a fun, interactive, themed grade level party or movie in MP room.   Students begin w/ clean slate following each reward event.  See website calendar for reward dates.

Students have the opportunity to receive a ticket when they exhibit behavior that is beyond what is expected OR when a student is complying with the expectations but the other students around them are not. Students redeem their tickets in the office for a treat and their names go into a weekly raffle.  The raffle winner receives a gift from the office treasure box.

Several students per classroom will be recognized All Stars at the end of the year awards assembly.  These students have been chosen because they consistently demonstrate all the qualities of a Sheridan Star within the Sheridan school community.
